Why Volunteer?
Joining an extracurricular organization gives you opportunities to network, make new friends, be more engaged in the local community, and make a change in the status quo. As a member, you'll meet many new people from all walks of life, and you'll also gain valuable experience in volunteerism as well as in leadership and being a team player, all important skills to be successful in college and later on in life! As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Evergreen Initiative awards volunteer hours for your participation in programs, events, and activities. These can count towards awards such as the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, or for other school/club requirements. Thank you for your interest!
Before you begin volunteering, we must receive a clear, legible scan of your forms in one PDF. You can find the form and instructions at this link, or on the attachment below. Please note you must be a registered volunteer to tutor, teach, or sign up for one of our programs as a volunteer.

OutreachOutreach is essential for organizations to grow. As The Evergreen Initiative expands its programs (tutoring, teaching, and ambassadors), we needs your help to take it to the next level. We want to expand further across the Bay Area to recruit passionate members and help students that are struggling during the pandemic. Your unique communities are crucial to continue with the organization’s outreach.
